Romantic Spring Wedding at the Governor Thomas Bennett House

Anytime we get the chance to photograph a wedding at the Governor Thomas Bennett House in Charleston, SC, we know it’s going to be a GREAT day! This historic venue is such a gem!! From the stunning architecture of the house to the beautifully maintained gardens, it’s one of the dreamiest wedding spots in the city!

Laurel and Chris’ spring wedding at the Thomas Bennett House was nothing short of magical. The florals were in full bloom, the light was perfect, and every detail felt effortlessly elegant and timeless! And can we just take a moment for the stunnnnnnnning reception design by Davinia Selfridge Events!? The draped white fabric, soft candlelight, and lush greenery created the most romantic garden-inspired reception space!!

We were especially obsessed with the woven lanterns, floral-filled ground arrangements, and the Natural Dior chairs from Curated Events!! Gah!! Loved everything!! Every detail felt so thoughtful and timeless — which is our FAV. It honestly felt like stepping into a fairytale.

From the moment we arrived to the moment they drove off in their vintage convertible (yes, it was as cool as it sounds!), their day was soooo good!
