I can still remember the first time I talked to Elle! It was in the car, on our way to Atlanta for Aaron’s sister’s wedding and a 15 minute conversation turned into about an hour and half as we poured over wedding details and her and Richard’s love story!! It was as if we were instant friends and I KNEW this was going to be a wedding we would never forget! Elle, along with her 8 gorgeous bridesmaids and Richard, along with his 8 dashing groomsmen allowed Aaron and I to capture them in their most intimate and heartfelt moments throughout the day, giving this wedding gallery all kinds of beautiful candid moments, which we ADORE!! … and can we talk about this venue?! It’s actually Elle’s stepdad’s parent’s house and it’s on the historic register in Beaufort, overlooking the Beaufort River. It’s been in the family for generations and after talking to one of Elle’s aunts, we learned that about a dozen other family members have said their vows and partied under the moonlight on the same back lawn, overlooking the marsh… including Elle’s own mom! We’re suckers for beautiful backyard weddings; especially ones at historic 19th century Southern mansions like this one! Elle’s vision for her day was rustic, chic & elegant and I’d say that the ladies of WED brought her vision to life in the most insanely beautiful way!
