Robbie + Kim’s Hibernian Hall Wedding

Remember icky ole’ Hurricane Matthew, last Fall? You know, the one that hit landfall in Charleston on a Saturday afternoon in PRIME WEDDING SEASON when our sweet couple, Kim & Robbie, were planning to say “I do”?! Yep, we remember it too and I have no doubt that Kim and Robbie will ALWAYS remember it as the day that gave them a run for their money and sadly cancelled the wedding they had been planning for over a year! When we got the news that there was a mandatory evacuation for Charleston and that HWYs were going to be shut down to incoming traffic, we knew it was serious and knew that the wedding, which was planned for downtown Charleston, wasn’t going to be happening. We mourned for Kim & Robbie, but then got so excited when we heard that they had driven over to Atlanta, GA that day and had their closest family & friends there for a last minute backyard wedding! They were married after all!! HOWEVER, we couldn’t just let them throw away all of the planning they had done for their Charleston wedding OR deprive them of some gorgeous photos, so all of the vendors rallied together to find a new date that worked for all of us and early this year, we all attended Kim & Robbie’s second wedding!! 😉
