It’s not often that we get to break away and do photos for our friends, but between home renovations and a busy Spring wedding season, I (Jillian) jumped downtown for a little 15 minute couple session for my sweet friend Blake & her boyfriend Charles! Blake works for Pure Luxe Bride, one of our favorite wedding planners in the city, and we’ve become friends over the past few years and numerous weddings together! When she asked if I could snap a few photos of her and Charles before they headed off to A Charleston Affair last month, I couldn’t resist! If you’ve ever wondered what my photos look like vs Aaron’s, here’s your chance, since we ALWAYS shoot together, but this time I was solo! This was actually a really funny situation, because what I assumed was the driveway to a Bed & Breakfast actually turned out to be someone’s backyard!!! Oops! Luckily the man who owns the house (and amazing driveway) turned out to be a sweetheart and graciously allowed us to stay around and finish our shoot, and even invited us to walk around his incredible English gardens! Now if that’s not Southern hospitality, I don’t know what is!! Thanks Dr Johnson… and Blake & Charles, y’all look hot, hot, hot!! Hope you had fun at A Charleston Affair! xoxo, Jillian
