Matt + Nicole’s Lowndes Grove Wedding

Anytime we get the chance to work with the incredibly talented wedding planner & designer, Luke Wilson, we count our blessings!! And this wedding was no exception! Not only was his design beautiful and his team able to maneuver the day around multiple rain storms, but Nicole and Matt were absolutely stunning together, so much fun to spend the day with, and best of all, they took the rain with a grain of salt!! As photographers, there’s nothing better than a calm bride and groom who are able to go with the flow and trust us!! Good news is, their photos together turned out to be some of our favorites to date – there’s something about the rain that makes everything more romantic, right?! And let’s be honest, there were some romantic and epic moments to contend with, like the moment Matt broke down and cried as Nicole walked down the aisle with her dad, or his reaction to finding out that Nicole had adopted a puppy for him as his wedding gift, or when they danced to “Time of My Life” from Dirty Dancing as their first dance… and NAILED the lift!!! It was one of the sweetest, most heartfelt, and all around Southern-as-could-be weddings of the season and we love that WE got to be there to document it with these pretty images!
