Once in a while, we venture outside of Charleston to capture a wedding that we’re super excited about! When Victoria & Roland first contacted us about shooting their wedding at the Duke Mansion in Charlotte, NC, we had no idea it would end up being one of our favorites of the year, but we did know that with a venue like that, and a couple as sweet as these two, it would be one for the books! … and it was!
Victoria has a degree in retail, so we knew she would not only have an incredible gown (which she did), but that she would see to it that every single detail of their day was what she loved and what represented the two of them and their style: romantic, timeless, classic and trendy! We were SO impressed with all of the thoughtful things she created, ordered, designed and/or pulled together for her and Roland and their guests to enjoy! The morning started with Victoria & her 6 bridesmaids having their hair and makeup done in the upstairs bridal suite while they sipped mimosas and swung on the porch swing! Talk about the morning of a quintessential Southern wedding! The rest of the day was heartfelt, meaningful, exciting and filled with celebration (and a few happy tears) as Victoria & Roland committed to forever together! Enjoy some of our favorite images from their wedding!
