Last weekend, Aaron and I had the pleasure of doing a couple’s photo shoot with some of our dear friends, Anne and Jinho. Anne came to Korea at the same time as Aaron and I and was actually in our same orientation class for EPIK teachers. Although, it wasn’t until December of that year (9 months later) that I finally met and got to know her while on a Korean Historical field trip to Gaya with about 100 other foreign English teachers. We hit it off instantly during a 4D movie and have been friends ever since.
Aaron and I both feel blessed to know Anne and more recently Jinho, her adorable boyfriend from Busan! The two met back in April of 2010 at the opening of their favorite bar, Thursday Party, in Daegu, and continued hanging out until Jinho got up the nerve to finally ask her out on an official date in March of 2011. Thank goodness he did, because we love them together! Anne is a positive and spunky Wisconsinite, who’s always the life of the party and happens to have one of the funniest sarcastic streaks of anyone we’ve ever met! …and Jinho is just a gem among gems, with a sweet disposition, a dotting love for Anne, and a hidden quirky side, which came out beautifully in these photos!
Who knew he was such a ham?!
We did their photo shoot at Gwangali Beach, a place where the two of them have probably spent over a hundred afternoons together! Plus, it’s a stunning beach with a landmark bridge and a perfect view of the new gothic style skyline in Haeundae.
Introducing Jinho and Anne.
Here’s a little behind the scene’s action for you!
Anne and Jinho, we adore you both and will miss you dearly when we all go our separate ways next year. Capturing these photos for you both and spending the afternoon together was an absolute pleasure for both us!
